Brain Injury Canada, formerly The Brain Injury Association of Canada, was formed in 2004 after a groundswell of advocacy and national activity by local brain injury associations, survivors and caregivers across the country. Everyone agreed that Canadians living with the effects of acquired brain injury, their families and caregivers, required national representation to connect and advocate for needs and services.

BrainLine is a national multimedia project offering authoritative information and support to anyone whose life has been affected by brain injury or post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD): people with brain injuries, their family and friends, and the professionals who work with them. BrainLine also provides military-specific information and resources on traumatic brain injury and PTSD to veterans, service members and their families..

COVID Long-Haulers Support Group Canada is the largest Canadian online community for COVID-19 survivors, their families and any supporters searching for the most up-to-date information.

The School of Rehabilitation Science offers an MSc and PhD in rehabilitation sciences for individuals who have a prerequisite degree in occupational therapy, physiotherapy, speech-language pathology or other health-relevant programs and wish to pursue graduate training in rehabilitation science.

Master of Science Program in Speech-Language Pathology is a 23-month, full-time, in-person, course-based professional master’s program. The program prepares students with the knowledge, skills and professional behaviours to practice as entry-level speech-language pathologists.

The OBIA is a provincial, registered, charitable organization. The Compassionate Justice Fund was developed to bridge a critical gap in funding and available rehabilitation services for people who have suffered a traumatic brain injury through means of violence, abuse, intimate partner violence and those who have experienced unstable housing or homelessness.
